Even imposing kinds such as the Harpy Eagle or the Steller’s Sea Eagle usually tip the scales far below the bulkier flightless rivals. Their design favors speed and skill, not sheer mass!
Option B: The Ostrich
Here stands a bird that does more than stroll—it dominates the plains. The ostrich is the true heavyweight among birds. Reaching 2.7 meters in height and as much as 150 kilograms, almost no other bird can match it in pure dimensions. Free from the need to rise into the air, it has grown exceptionally tall and robust, securing its place as the clear size champion.
Option C: The Penguin
Penguins charm us, and the Emperor Penguin ranks as the biggest among its kin. Tough, courageous, and ideally suited to the icy Antarctic, they outsize ordinary backyard birds yet still fall short of the ostrich’s enormous scale.
